Editorial Policy

All entries on the Findhorn Foundation website are subject to the editor's approval. The importance of clear descriptive writing can make the difference between success or failure of your programme. Please make sure that a workshop/programme entry clearly describes outcomes, content, vision and why it is unique.

Please note the following:

  • All entries on the Foundation website are subject to the editor's approval.
  • Programme/workshop entry for the website should be a maximum of 150 words in length, unless there is a prior agreement.
  • Once your entry is submitted, it will be viewed by Programme Development in liaison with the editor and will be edited where necessary.
  • If it is necessary to make significant changes to the content or length of the text submitted, the edited version will be returned to you for viewing.
  • The editor will make changes to entries to fulfill the following requirements:
    1. Content is clear and appropriate for the workshop and to the website as a whole.
    2. Language is clear and precise and in keeping with the website as a whole.
    3. Title is relevant and inviting to the content.
    4. Correct length of entry.
  • The editor may amend the submitted entry if a change will increase the appeal or marketability of the programme or workshop.
